Privacy Policy - Kids Learning
Last updated: May 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Kids Learning ("we", "our", "us") handles information when you use our app. We are committed to protecting the privacy of children and all our users.
1. Intended Audience and Families Policy
Kids Learning is a children-focused educational app designed for children aged 5-12. We strictly comply with the Google Play Families Policy and COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act).
- We do not collect personally identifiable information (PII) from children.
- We do not include any third-party advertising.
- We use a "Parental Gate" for all external links and in-app purchases.
2. Information We Collect and Why
We collect only the minimum data necessary for the app to function. This data is collected but not shared with third parties.
- Financial Information (Purchase History): We collect your in-app purchase history via RevenueCat and Google Play Billing to verify your premium subscription status and unlock features you have purchased.
- Device or Other IDs: We use an anonymous Firebase ID to identify your installation. This allows us to sync your learning progress and maintain your settings across sessions.
- Learning Progress Data: We save your points, achievements, and unlocked levels locally and in a secure database to provide a continuous educational experience.
3. Data Security and Sharing
- Encryption in Transit: All data collected is transmitted over secure, encrypted connections (HTTPS/SSL).
- No Data Sharing: We do not share any user data (personal, financial, or technical) with third-party companies for advertising, marketing, or tracking purposes.
- Service Providers: Data is processed by our trusted service providers (Google Firebase and RevenueCat) solely for the purpose of providing app functionality.
4. Storage and Services
- Local Storage: SharedPreferences on your device.
- Cloud Services: Google Firebase (Authentication & Firestore) for progress syncing.
- Subscription Handling: RevenueCat for managing premium access.
5. Data Deletion and Retention
Since we do not require user accounts with personal information (email, names, etc.), most data is stored anonymously.
- You can reset all local progress within the app's parent settings.
- To request a full deletion of anonymous data associated with your installation, please contact us at the support email listed in our Google Play Store listing.
6. Policy Updates
We may update this policy periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent changes.
